After a quarter of a century without civic issues and several experiments to substitute small Roman Imperial denominations for the civic coins, Antioch struck again minor civic coins under Hadrian, first a small issue in 123/4 and then a more substantial issue in 128/9. On this issue, the Greek marks of three officinae (Α, Β, Γ) appear on the reverse, together with the civic date according to the Caesarean Era, ZOP (= 128/9).
